| dc.description.abstract | The present work has as its theme the constitutive tension that is present in the relationship between fundamental rights and democracy, with the observance of its consequent consequences in different fields of knowledge. It was made possible thanks to the common effort of its organizers, who, in the leadership of their respective Postgraduate Law Programs, brought together the texts that make up this collection. It is also important to note that it of the fruitful collaborative work drafted in the context of the Inter-American Network on Fundamental Rights and Democracy.
